Quarterfinal runners-up in the BCL, with three big games
The Basketball Champions League continues today (December 4) with the program that includes three games as part of Game 2 of the Quarterfinals, in which the teams qualify for the Final Four in Bilbao.
The current (12/4) Basketball Champions League program related to Game 2 of the quarterfinals of the tournament is three games in a best-of-three series, with the winner rising to the two wins.
In the first – chronological – race of the nightTofas host Tenerife (19:00, Cosmote Sport 8), with the Spaniards leading 1-0 after winning the first game 78-77, with Sasso Salin top scorer with 27 points and 8/12 threes, followed by Giorgi Sermandini with 17 points and 9 rebounds.
In the second race of the night, Strasbourg welcomes Hapoel Holon (21:00, Cosmote Sport 9). The Israelis lead 1-0 in this series after defeating France 93-75 in Game 1 with leaders Chris Johnson (18 points) and Michael Kaiser (15 points).
In the third race of the night, Malaga welcomes Manresa (21:30, Cosmote Sport 4). Manresa leads the series 1-0 after partying in the first game, coming off 29-4 in the first half en route to an 86-63 win and having first scorer Joe Thomason on 16 points.
Game 2 of the BCL quarter-finals ends tomorrow (April 13). Ludwigsburg host Cluj (9pm, Cosmote Sport 9), with the Romanians leading 1-0 thanks to their 76-73 win in the first game in a stadium where 10,000 Romanians never dropped a pin.
