FIBA Champions League
Patrioti was missing in the first part of the BCL qualifying game
The Slovakian Patrioti was absent for the entire opening phase of the Basketball Champions League qualifier against AEK Larnaca.
It seems unlikely, but it is very true. Patriot from Slovakia hosted AEK Larnaca as part of the Basketball Champions League qualifiers and failed to score a single point in the entire first period of the game, while receiving 20 points from the Cypriot team in the same period.
To be precise, Michael Mazin’s team had 0/13 shots in the first quarter of the game, i.e. 0/5 two-pointers and 0/8 three-pointers. Of course, this also deprived her of the opportunity to win the game, as the final score was 66-74 in favor of AEK Larnaca.
THE DECADES: 0-20, 22-45, 43-53, 66-74
