PAOK will fill McNeese’s void with Alston
Justin Alston is in Thessolini to sign for PAOK and strengthen Fotis Takianou’s squad following Jamani McNeese’s injury.
The injury of Jamani McNeese in the match of PAOK against Olympiakos on matchday 5 of the Stoiximan Basket League led to the need to acquire a tall player, with the Northern Bicephalon showing quick reflexes and in the person of Justin Alston (1994, 2m04).
The 29-year-old American has had a good season in Lithuania. At Juventus, he averaged 12.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 32 games. In the summer he signed with the Israeli Ramat Gan, but did not have time to compete there due to the situation in the wider region.
