A particularly unfortunate moment for referee Aleksandar Glicic in Tenerife’s Basketball Champions League duel against Riga, as he suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury.
Referee Aleksandar Glicic was unlucky in Tenerife’s BCL duel against Riga as he tore his cruciate ligament during the game.
Especially in the third period and when the score was 51:42 in favor of the Spaniards, the Serbian referee lost his balance and injured himself. Glicic went on a stretcher and understandably couldn’t finish the game.
In history, Tenerife beat Riga 76:55 on the third matchday of the competition.
