Olympiacos is tested at Virtus headquarters and fights for Peristeri Bwin, Promethea and Aris

Olympiacos Piraeus faces a difficult task today (December 19th) after playing away against Virtus Bologna on matchday 15 of the EuroLeague (9:30 p.m., Novasports Prime and LIVE on Sportish).

The “Red and Whites” want to build on the positive results, but also cover up their home defeat against Valencia a few days ago, with Naz Mitrou-Long being the only absentee who is not yet allowed to take part in the competition.

Prometheus fights for 2nd place, important games for Peristeri bwin and Aris

Three more representatives of Greek basketball enter the battle for Europe today. Prometheus and Peristeri bwin fulfill their duties in the group stage of the Basketball Champions League – having secured their presence in the competition’s play-in, with the Patrinos hoping to win 2nd place in their group – while Aris tested in the will be EuroCup.

Prometheus faces Opava away (7:30 p.m., Cosmote Sport 7 and LIVE from Sportish) and will be looking to finish 2nd in their group with a combination of results.

For its part, Peristeri bwin welcomes Malaga (7:00 p.m., Cosmote Sport 4 and LIVE from Sportish). Both teams are indifferent as the Spaniards are definitely first in the group and the “Princes” are definitely third, with coach Spanoulis’ team just waiting to find out their opponent, which will be either Ritas Vilnius or Prometheus.

However, in first place in the European duel is Aris, who will compete against Turk Telecom on matchday 12 of the EuroCup in Turkey (7:00 p.m., Novasports 5 and LIVE on Sportish).

The “Yellows” would really like the win to move even more firmly to 6th place in their group, but also to double their victories against the Turkish team, which will play a role in a possible draw.
