Italian reports connect Campengele with Venice
Italian sirens for Fiondo Campengele, with reports from Italy suggesting AEK Betsson’s brutal center is in advanced negotiations with Venezia.
Fyondo Campengele has proven valuable for AEK Betsson this season. So his excellent performances appear to have piqued Venice’s interest, with Italian reports suggesting the two sides are in advanced contact.
The Italian side are still trying to find their key centre-back having not recovered from the Bruno Campoclo fiasco and appear to be eyeing the Canadian, with Italian media reporting an approach has been made.
As a reminder, Campengele (who normally travels to Germany with the yellow-blacks for the game against Ludwigsburg) recently changed representatives. The contract he signed with AEK Betsson in the summer does not foresee a buyout, whatever that entails.
This season, Campengele averaged 14 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20 minutes of participation in the Stoiximan Basket League and 10.3 points, 6 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 18 minutes of participation in the Basketball Champions League.
