FIBA Champions League
AEK, PAOK and Peristeri declared participation in the BCL, the EWG sent a reservation document to FIBA
As announced by Vangelis Liolios, AEK, PAOK and Peristeri have declared their participation in the new season’s Basketball Champions League, although the EEC President clarifies that they will not play if they do not meet the participation criteria.
Vangelis Liolios said a lot in the press conference he gave. Among other things, however, he mentioned something else: The EEC declared the participation of AEK, PAOK and Peristeri in the Basketball Champions League of the 2022/23 season, but with … a caveat.
“A document has been submitted to FIBA pending teams participation in the Stoiximan Basket League. The teams will be recorded and if there is a problem with their file they will not play.” The President of the EWG said significantly when asked about the deadlines for attending the FIBA event and the problems that might arise.
