The 52 teams that will compete in the Basketball Champions League of the 2022-23 season have been announced by FIBA. AEK, PAOK and Peristeri already have a place in the tournament’s groups.

The draw will take place on July 7th. The event begins with the qualifier on September 21st and beyond The regular season starts on October 4th.

The format remains the same, as first the 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four and the winners of the groups will advance directly to the round of 16, while the second and third placed teams will be drawn in January 2023. The top eight will intersect with those drawn in April qualified for the Quarterfinals, with the season ending in May with the Final Four.
