Lykogiannis: “Difficult group, all the best for qualifying”
Aris Lykogiannis did not hide PAOK’s European ambitions, although the group has pitfalls in the Basketball Champions League.
PAOK will have a challenging task in the Basketball Champions League groups. The level of difficulty certainly does not diminish his expectations Ari Lykogiannis and more generally the black and white organism.
Regarding the draw and the formation of the group, since the opponent is due to qualify, the Dikefalos coach emphasized: “It’s a very interesting group, although the groups haven’t been formed yet so we have a complete picture. Sassari looks set to change significantly, while Dijon are likely to retain a large chunk of last year’s squad with the same manager. We have to see who comes out of qualifying as the fourth team.
Malaga seems the most likely opponents but the qualifying process is very early and the possibility of an upset can never be ruled out.
It’s definitely a difficult group. We will try to form a competitive team that will give us the opportunity to do our best to take one of the positions that will take us to the next phase of the competition“.
