Badalona – Barcelona 82-92: The Blaugrana won the Catalan League Trophy

Barcelona became champions of the Catalan League, beating Badalona 92-82 in the final with Nikola Kalinic and Alex Abrines as protagonists.

Barcelona struggled against Badalona in the first part of the final, but accelerated in the second and celebrated the title in the Catalan league with the protagonists Kalinic and Abrines with 92:82.

Badalona surprised Jasikevicius’ team at the start and even ended the first half at +4, with Ante Tomic posing the main threat for the Blaugrana. In the second quarter, Barcelona recovered and finished the first half at +4, showing a significant improvement especially in the defensive part, with Abrines shooting with 100% accuracy.

In the second half the difference opened up, Jasikevicius’ players felt more free on the pitch and ended the game with the trophy. The first scorer was Nikola Kalinic with 17 points and 8/8 shots while Laprovitola, Abrines and Sanli had 12 points each.

Barcelona – Baskonia 89-74: First win in Liga Endesa and now Olympiacos

Barcelona celebrated their first win in the Endesa league, beating Baskonia 89-74 on Matchday 2 and now turning their attention to the first game of the EuroLeague against Olympiakos.

Barcelona needed a strong second half to break Baskonia’s resistance, which made things difficult for them for 20 minutes. The Blaugrana celebrated their first Liga Endesa victory (89-74) after suffering a surprise defeat on Matchday 1.

Now Jasikevicius players are turning to them focus on the EuroLeague opener against Olympiacos in Barcelona to get off to a flying start.

Yan Vesely was the top scorer for Barcelona with 15 points and 5 rebounds while Alex Abrines stopped with 13. Satoranski and Laprovitola each had five assists.

At Baskonia, Thompson led by 13 points while Enoch had 12 points. Baskonia plays Valencia away on their first day of the game EuroLeague.

Real Madrid – Obradeiro 93-79: First home win and 2/2 in Liga Endesa

Real Madrid continued their triumph in the Liga Endesa championship as they easily defeated Obradeiro 93-79 in their first home game. Now it goes on unbeaten before the EuroLeague premiere against Panathinaikos.

With Musa at the helm and three other players in double figures, Real Madrid had no trouble claiming their first home win in the Spanish league of the 2022/23 season. Chus Mateo’s players easily defeated Obradeiro 93-79 while also making 2/2 in Liga Endesa.

Now the “Queen” turns to her attention EuroLeague and in its European commitments where it will face Panathinaikos in OAKA on Matchday 1.

Top scorer for Real against Obradeiro was Dzanan Moussa with 22 points, while Poirier had 14 points and Yabusele 11. Among the guests, Bender had 19 and Shrubb 13.

Gran Canaria – Barcelona 88-85: The upset happened early in the Liga Endesa when the Blaugrana fell victim in the Premier League

Gran Canaria made an early splash in the Liga Endesa championship when they beat Barcelona 88-85 in their opening game.

With excellent performances at both ends of the pitch and pressure from opponents in the final, Gran Canaria caused an upset early in the Endesa league, beating Barcelona 88-85 in the Spanish league opener.

As they did in the SuperCopa against Real Madrid, Barcelona showed their weaknesses on the opening day of the league, giving the island side the right to find a rhythm and create an upset.

Gran Canaria led until the middle of the third period, losing it for a few minutes but then regaining the lead to finish the third quarter +5 (70-65). Abrines and Sanli were the ones who aggressively carried Barcelona but finding a rhythm was slow.

A brace from Laprovitola put Barcelona back in front 3’30” from the end of the game, although Gran Canaria still seemed able to cause an upset. The score changes a lot until the final, with Barcelona staying within a point. A trio by the hosts brought the difference to four (86:82) and practically sealed the win.

The top scorer for Barcelona was Sertach Sanli with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Alex Abrines had 17 points with 5/9 three-pointers. Balcherovski stood out for Gran Canaria with 17 points, while Salvo and Bassas had 11 points each. At 12 Sourna stopped.
