Giorgos Tsalbouris (26 years, 2.16 metres) will continue his career in the Spanish league and at Betis, with the Spanish team announcing his acquisition.

Giorgos Tsalbouris (26 years, 2.16 meters) is now a Betis player. The international forward/center has reached an agreement with the Spanish club, who have announced he has signed a one-year deal.

Tsalbouris had a career year in the 2021-22 season at Apollo Patras, where he averaged 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 33 minutes of attendance, becoming the second top scorer in the Basket League, feats that gave him the opportunity to compete in Europe’s top division from the new season.

This is the second time the great Kateriniotis has been absent, after his departure from the NCAA was preceded by Iowa State College, followed by AEK, Kolossos, PAOK and – last year – Apollon Patras.
