Barcelona – Baskonia 89-74: First win in Liga Endesa and now Olympiacos

Barcelona celebrated their first win in the Endesa league, beating Baskonia 89-74 on Matchday 2 and now turning their attention to the first game of the EuroLeague against Olympiakos.

Barcelona needed a strong second half to break Baskonia’s resistance, which made things difficult for them for 20 minutes. The Blaugrana celebrated their first Liga Endesa victory (89-74) after suffering a surprise defeat on Matchday 1.

Now Jasikevicius players are turning to them focus on the EuroLeague opener against Olympiacos in Barcelona to get off to a flying start.

Yan Vesely was the top scorer for Barcelona with 15 points and 5 rebounds while Alex Abrines stopped with 13. Satoranski and Laprovitola each had five assists.

At Baskonia, Thompson led by 13 points while Enoch had 12 points. Baskonia plays Valencia away on their first day of the game EuroLeague.
