Baskonia’s Marcus Howard avoided serious knee injuries
Early signs of Marcus Howard’s knee injury appear to be no cause for concern, with Baskonia explaining how the worst was avoided.
After Marcus Howard’s first tests, calm seems to be returning to Baskonia. The Spaniard’s explosive guard left the game against Olympiacos (22.8 minutes from time) on crutches and left the field on crutches, but the injury doesn’t appear to be particularly serious.
Baskonia supports this with a corresponding update that emphasizes that “The first tests conducted seem to rule out the possibility of a serious injury“. The Spanish club hastened to clarify that a clear picture of the seriousness of the situation and the exact length of Marcus Howard’s absence will be available in the coming days after the completion of all the tests he is scheduled to undergo.
Of course, the main thing for now is that Joan Peñaroja won’t be without him for long.
