Pieria Henry returned to Baskonia and the EuroLeague
Baskonia announced – out of nowhere – the return of Pieria Henry, who was recently axed from the NBA and is returning to familiar places.
Where nobody expected it – perhaps because of Marcus Howard’s injury in the game against Olympiakos – Baskonia announced the transfer of Pieria Henry (1993, 1.96 m), who signed a contract until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old guard played for the Basques in 2019/21 while joining Turkey for Fenerbahce last year, where he averaged 7.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 28 EuroLeague games.
Over the summer, Henry tried to find a place in the magical world of the NBA, but just before the start of the season across the Atlantic, he was dropped from the Houston Rockets roster and made the decision to return to familiar places.
