Abrines scored for Barcelona in the Valencia derby

Alex Abrines scored the only goal to seal Barcelona-Valencia as the Catalans remain at the top of Liga Endesa and their rivals drop to 10th place.

It wasn’t spectacular, it wasn’t great basketball, but Barcelona overtook Valencia 81-75 in game 19 of the Endesa League on Sunday afternoon (February 5).

Alex Abrines decided the game with his only basket, while the Catalans had to put up a great effort and a personal 49-32 in the second half to come back from -11 at halftime (32-43).

Barcelona remain in first place with a record of 16-3, Valencia dropped to 10th place and now have a negative record (9-10).
