Endesa League
Valencia have filed an official protest against the referees of the game against Barcelona with the ACB
Last Sunday’s Liga-Endesa derby (5/2) seems far from over for Valencia as the Spanish league has officially protested against the defensive trio.
From the very first moment, the Valencia coach Alex Moubru did not hide his displeasure with some crucial decisions made by the referees, especially in the last crucial minutes of the derby with Barcelona, that found the “Blaugrana” winner. However, he preferred to focus on the competition side and talk to the press.
However, just over 24 hours later, Valencia management opted for a more dynamic response and submitted an official protest to the Spanish League (ACB) against the referees Antonio Conte, Alfonso Olivares and Raul Zamorano, who took this into account with their decisions they determined the fate of the game in which Moubru’s team was even at +14.
It remains to be seen how the league will react and whether there will be a punishment for one or more of the three referees.
