On Gran Canaria until 2025 Jaka Lakovic
Jaka Lakovic is leading Gran Canaria to an excellent run in the EuroCup and the Spanish club’s leadership have rewarded him by announcing an extension of their partnership until 2025.
As the scenarios that would have him as a candidate for the bench of Panathinaikos and Barcelona saw the light of day, Jakas Laković declared his allegiance to Gran Canaria. At the same time, the Spanish team has the best record in this year’s EuroCup (12-3) and is among the top seven teams in the Endesa League.
The club’s management therefore decided to reward the Slovenian coach, who had excelled in the past as a player for Panathinaikos and Barcelona, announcing on Thursday morning (9/3) the extension of the partnership until 2025, 24 hours later of the new victory of Gran Canaria over Italian Trento.
