Murcia surprised by signing Chris Chioza
Great move by Murcia, who caused a surprise and announced the acquisition of NBA player Chris Chioza (27 years, 1.80 metres) with a contract until the end of the season.
Murcia is traditionally a good… passage for players with ambitions in Europe. This prospect seems to have convinced Chris Chioza (27 years, 1.80 meters) when the Spanish team surprisingly announced the acquisition of the former NBA guard.
Chioza shuttled back and forth between the G-League and the NBA from 2018 to 2022. He spent that season in the G-League with the Long Island Nets, averaging 12.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists with 40.3% three-pointers in 34 minutes of attendance.
For the record, Chioza is not eligible to play in the Basketball Champions League, meaning he would only join Murcia in the Spanish league.
