Valencia beat Bilbao despite a great performance from Tsalbouris
Giorgos Tsalbouris had his best performance with Bilbao, scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds, but Valencia didn’t let him be happy.
Valencia celebrated a 95-88 home win against Bilbao and didn’t let Giorgos Tsalbouris enjoy his superb performance. The great Greek scored 19 points (5/6 doubles, 3/5 trebles) and 7 rebounds in 24’33” of participation, but that wasn’t enough for the Basques to leave Fonteta as the winner.
Alex Moubru’s team improved their record to 15-14 and dropped Bilbao to 12-16. The hosts showed an admirable variety of attacks, seven players finished the game in double figures. The one who stood out a little more than the rest was Bojan Dubljevic, who offered 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
