Barcelona beat Baskonia away (84-91), a result that alone earned them first place in the Liga Endesa standings just before they plunged into the battle for the EuroLeague Final Four.

Barcelona won 91-84 at the Fernando Buesa Arena in Liga Endesa’s 33rd game to remain alone at the top of the table with a 28-5 record, leaving second-placed Baskonia (27-6) ahead of the trip to the EuroLeague Final Four, which will take place in Kaunas.

Alex Abrines and Nicolas Laprovitola were the top scorers of Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team with 18 points each. Jan Vesely (waist), Nikola Kalinic (shoulder), whose availability for the upcoming Final Four is unclear, and Corey Higgins, who recently underwent surgery and had to end his season early, are out.
