With a 9-0 run in the final, Real Madrid bounced back from -7, defeating Betis in the Liga regular-season final Endesa and sending them to the second division of Spanish basketball

The Madrid side trailed 70-77 against Betis in the final game of Endesa’s regular league season but put up a 9-0 run, with Nigel Williams-Goss scoring all the points to take the win and their opponents into second Game to send division of Spanish basketball when in the final the American guard cut Montero, who then missed the goal.
