Of two Real and Baskonia players in Spain’s top five, leaders Barcelona have none

ACB announced their top five for the regular season in Liga Endesa, which included two each from Real and Baskonia and (MVP) Sermandini, but no Real players.

At the regular season finale of the Liga Endesa, Barcelona were top of the table before the playoffs. However, this wasn’t enough for the ‘Blaugrana’ to have a player in the top five of the season.


The ACB announced after a vote that the players were included in the regular-season top five, with the name of a Barcelona player missing. In contrast, Real and Baskonia each had two representatives, with Tenerife’s Giorgi Sermandini (regular-season MVP) accompanying them. However, Barcelona had two representatives in the 2nd five.

Dzanan Moussa (Real)
Giorgi Sermandini (Tenerife)
Eddie Tavares (Real)
The second five of the Endesa League:
Marcelinho Huertas (Tenerife)
Nico Laprovitola (Barcelona)
Joel Parra (Badalona)
Nikola Mirotic (Barcelona)
Ante Tomic (Badalona)
