Barcelona defeats Valencia, these are the semi-finals of the Endesa Liga

All four of Liga Endesa’s quarter-final series have been decided 2-0, with Barcelona clinching their ticket to the semi-finals last year.

With a comfortable away win against Valencia (87-64), Barcelona won the quarter-final series of the Liga Endesa 2-0 and advanced to the semi-finals, where they meet Malaga (2-0 in Tenerife).

Satoranski with 14 points and 7 assists, Mirotic with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, Abrines with 12 points (4/6 three points) and Laprovitola-Kuric with 11 points each were the leaders of Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team.

In the other semi-final series, Badalona (2-0 Baskonia) meets Real Madrid (2-0 Gran Canaria), with three wins instead of two as in the quarter-finals being decisive in this series.

It was one of the biggest additions of the season in European basketball and despite not joining a EuroLeague team, Jalil Okafor is showing early on that he will make a difference in Liga Endesa and beyond.

The former NBA player, the No. 3 pick in the 2015 draft, scored 18 points (6/7 2-pointers, 1/2 3-pointers, 3/6 field goals), grabbed five rebounds, dished out two assists and scored a goal 21 points in 25:04. Zaragoza led Endesa to a 100:92 victory over Unicaja Malaga on the second matchday of the Liga Endesa.
