Finally Reneses from Girona
In the past, Girona’s technical lead was Aito Reneses and the Spanish team announced the end of the collaboration between the two sides.
Aito Reneses led Girona to their first season in the Endesa Liga, finishing 15th. He has done his duty. Now it’s time for both sides to go their separate ways.
Marc Gasol’s team has announced the end of their collaboration with the 76-year-old technician and is looking for a coach for the new season.
That year, at 76, Reneses became the oldest manager in the history of the Spanish league. In doing so, he broke the record set by Svetislav Pesic, who was on the Barcelona bench in the 2019/20 season at the age of 71.
