Badalona – Barcelona 83-72: Penia exposes Yasikevitsios’ team
The Catalan derby didn’t go well for Barcelona. Not only because he lost to Badalona 83-72, but also because he lost Brandon Davis to an elbow injury before joining SEF.
More than 12,000 spectators watched Badalona dominate the Catalan derby, defeating Endesa league pioneers Barcelona 83-72.
Jovetut took 21 points from Ande Tomic, a former Blaugrana center who remembered his youth, losing just 4 tries from 13 and finishing the game with a 70% odds. The tall Croatian also had 5 rebounds in under 20 minutes, helping Penia stay in control and unthreatening from start to finish.
Trying to match him, Brandon Davis led the losers with 19 points. Except that an elbow problem really forced him and didn’t allow him to finish the fight. Something that Saronas Yassikevitsios obviously didn’t like as the match against Olympiakos at SEF follows (1/4, 21:00).
Since he certainly didn’t like 25% of the three points and only 10 assists.
