Shannon Evans (29 years old, 1m85) is on the hunt for a team after Valencia decided not to activate the option he had in his contract for the 2023/24 season
Shannon Evans (29 years, 1.85 meters) is now a free agent. Valencia had the right to activate the option in his contract for the 2023/24 season but decided against it as the American is now looking for a club.
Evans was taken over from Betis mid-season when there was a need for the guard positions at Valencia. With the team jersey, he averaged 7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists with 36.8% three-pointers in 16 minutes of participation in the Spanish league and 5.5 points, 1.3 in 13 minutes of participation in the EuroLeague rebounds and 2.3 assists.
The American’s release was just the continuation of the evictions that have taken place in Valencia in recent weeks as Sam Van Rossum, Nenad Dimitrijevic and Klemen Prepelic remain free.
