According to the Spaniards, Barcelona are aiming for a double whammy with the Hernangomez brothers

Home of Glory discuss Barcelona’s verbal agreement with Willy Hernangomet and a proposal to Juancho Hernangomet.

The race to take over Willy Hernangomet seems to have been won by Barcelona as both sides have reached an oral agreement, according to Spanish media Home of Glory. In fact, the same media report that the Blaugrana have submitted a cooperation proposal to his brother Juancho Hernangomet and are waiting for his response within a few days.

The Spanish center, who was sacked by the Pelicans and has submitted his papers to the ACB to compete in the 2023/24 Liga Endesa season, will of course have to wait and see what his future holds as, according to Tanteo, Real have the right to match Barca’s offer and make him a Madrid resident as they own his rights in Spain.

What is causing a stir, however, is Barcelona’s intention to sign two players of quite high standing, having decided two years earlier to terminate Nikola Mirotic’s contract to get rid of such a big deal, and although one Montenegro is demanding his compensation (ss. he is demanding the full amount of 22 million euros for the departure).

It should also be noted that according to Spanish journalist Jordi Vage Simo, should the Juancho Hernangomet case not be pursued further, Barcelona intend to seek the acquisition of Luke Sikma, who has also taken the necessary steps to return to Spain. His own rights belong to Valencia.
