Barcelona jailed Parra for four years and paid Badalona a million
Barcelona have paid Badalona €1m for Spain international striker Joel Parra, with whom he has agreed a four-year deal.
The deal between Barcelona and Joel Parra came about, as the team itself announced, stressing that medical tests are still needed to finalize the deal, which will last for four years, that is, until 2027.
The two sides have been in talks for days but, according to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana had to pay the €1m buyout included in the player’s deal with Badalona in order to complete the transfer.
Called up by Sergio Scariolo in Spain’s preparation for MundoBasket 2023, the 23-year-old international forward averaged 9.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in the 2022/23 Liga Endesa season.
