Barcelona have finalized the amazing deal with Willy Hernangomet, the Spanish center until 2026
Real didn’t accept Barcelona’s offer and so Willy Hernangomet became the Catalan player for the next three years.

The Spanish center, recently freed by the Pelicans, made the decision to return to his home country and found there a financially quite advantageous offer from Blaugrana, who of course had to wait five days. until midnight on Wednesday 12 July to see if Real Madrid, who retained their rights in Spain under Tanteo, would accept the offer. Nothing like that happened and so the MVP of EuroBasket 2022 finally becomes a resident of Palau Blaugrana.
Hernangometh averaged 7.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per 15 minutes in 344 regular season games during his NBA career from 2016 to 2023 Knicks, Hornets and Pelicans. Now he’s returning to Europe to shake up the EuroLeague.
