Zaragoza closes out Jahil Okafor, No. 3 in the 2015 NBA Draft
Jahil Okafor, No. 3 of the 2015 NBA draft, is about to come to Europe, not for any EuroLeague team, but for Zaragoza.
Zaragoza is trying to complete a huge transfer. As reported by journalist Olga Llorente from Spain, Porfirio Fisak’s team is close to signing Jahil Okafor, No. 3 in the 2015 NBA draft.
The Nigerian-American center has made 247 appearances in the world’s top division with the Sixers, Nets, Pelicans and Pistons from 2015-2021, averaging 10.4 points and 4.7 rebounds.
In 2022 he moved to China while later in the 2022/23 season he faced Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico in the G-League. There, the 27-year-old averaged 20.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 3.6 turnovers per 28’8″ minutes in 15 games.
