Valencia announced Hanlan from Mars
Olivier Hanlan is officially a Valencia player until the end of the season, with the Spaniards officially announcing the deal.
Oliver Hanlan is a Valencia player and will officially be there from Tuesday (April 5th) at noon. The impressive performance he delivered in the Thessaloniki derby against Heracles (he scored Aris 24/30 in the last period) was his final appearance in Greece and Mars.
The Spanish team went on the market following the serious injury of Klemen Prepelic (ss: he will lose the rest of the season) to bolster the region, with the 29-year-old Guard of Mars developing into Joan Penaroya’s wishful thinking for his last league Endesa. Hanlan agreed with the Spanish club until the end of the season.
During his three-year stint in the Stoiximan Basket League, Olivier Hanlan stood out with the colors of Hercules and Mars and became one of the league’s top performers. This season he has averaged 20.8 points (38.3% of them on threes), 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 33’33” involvement.
It’s worth noting that Olivier Hanlan is not eligible to play in the EuroCup as the tournament’s transfer window closed on March 8th.
