Exuberance and tension for Mirotic and Abalde, which lasted until the bellows
Nikola Mirotic and Alberto Abalde were sent off after tensions between them with 5’05” before the end of the Clasico at the Palau Blaugrana.
Nerves were so tense in the last leg of the Barcelona-Real Madrid derby that Nikola Mirotic and Alberto Abalde got away reasonably. The big ones of the hosts and the little ones of the visitors had a moment of tension in the middle of the fourth quarter that almost led to conflict at the Palau Blaugrana.
However, the intervention of the others was immediate and was carried out by fire brigades, with the “manoeuvre” remaining strictly between the two. This of course had consequences for both as they were sent off (with a technical penalty and unsportsmanlike) and continued the intense dialogue in the bellows and on the road to the Palau Blaugrana dressing room.
