Real Madrid: Trey Tombkins return date is unknown
Trey Tombkins has been out of action for eight months but the date of his return to Real Madrid life remains unknown.
When Trey Tombkins walked through the operating room door to try – once and for all – over his knee discomfort, he apparently didn’t expect to be out of action for the next eight months. The tall Real Madrid player hasn’t played since game 5 of the EuroLeague playoffs last season, adding to concerns about his recovery.
As reported in Onda Madrid, Trey Tombkins was about to return a few weeks ago, the (operated) knee was swollen, so that all schedules were far behind. So much so that at the moment nobody knows exactly when they can join Pablo Lasso’s rotation.
This fact seems to have played a role in Gabriel Deck’s return to the WiZink Center. About nine months after he left for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The tough striker can bid both “3” and “4” and knowing the … swallows this is a risk-free option for the Queen.
Incidentally, Trey Tombkins’ contract with Real Madrid expires next summer – whatever that means.
