Endesa League
Coaches, players and referees from the Endesa league swapped roles and joked in a friendly match
ACB had a good idea to promote this year’s Liga Endesa championship and therefore organized a friendly match where players, coaches and referees swapped roles, with a pleasing result.
ACB has shown on several occasions that it thinks outside the box when it comes to promoting the Spanish league. He has now done that and organized another friendly match involving coaches, players and referees who switched roles.
So for one game, the referees became players, the coaches became referees, and the players became coaches, with a pleasing result as everyone took on the role of those who complained most.
The coaches who wore the referee uniforms were Ybon Navarro (Malaga), Pedro Martinez (Manresa) and Moncho Fernandez (Obradoiro), while the players who briefly became coaches – former AEK and Panathinaikos player – Howard Sand-Ross ( Murcia) and Xavi Rabaceda (Bilbao).
