Valencia lost to Howard-less Baskonia before Panathinaikos
Baskonia played against Valencia without Marcus Howard, but that didn’t stop them from winning 83-74. Alex Moubrou’s team will travel to OAKA to face Panathinaikos (11/23 21:15) after their third consecutive negative result.
After defeats against Real and Barcelona in the EuroLeague’s monster week, Valencia lost another Spanish derby in the 10th round of the Liga Endesa, this one against Baskonia. Alex Moubro’s team lost to Dusko Ivanovic’s 83:74, a few days before visiting OAKA to play against Panathinaikos (11/23 21:15).
The Basques played without Marcus Howard, but Vanja Marinkovic, Tadas Sentekerskis and Khalifa Diop returned to the defensive line. The Lithuanian showed a very good presence and scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Honored for the umpteenth time this year, Chima Moneke, who delivered 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
