Real Madrid – Basconia 94-84: Coser and Fernandez sign 1-0 in Liga Endesa semifinals
Real Madrid accelerated in the second half against Baskonia and achieved dominance (94-84) in the first semi-final of Liga Endesa.
It only took Real Madrid a year and a half of good basketball to beat Basconia (94-84) and scored 1-0 in his semi-final series League Endesa. Basconia stayed close for 20 minutes, trying to get back into the third period, but Real’s quality combined with good defensive presence were the elements that cleared the game.
The first half of the game was perfectly balanced, with Basconia reacting immediately and reacting as many times as Real Madrid were leading by a margin. Three points were the main features, with Rudy Fernandez having 3/4 on goal and Marinkovic 3/5.
The Madrilenians ran 17-0 early in the second half and essentially laid the foundations for the win, with Basconia having lost the concentration and fighting spirit of the first half. Lasso’s players did everything right, even when they were threatened by Basconia’s comeback and made it 1-0 relatively easily in the semi-finals.
