Endesa League
Real Madrid: Out of point guard after Sergio Yul’s injury
Sergio Yul was only 4’33” on the ground in Game 1 of the Endesa Liga semifinals with Baskonia due to problems in the adductors. The problem at ‘1’ is now huge for Real Madrid.
The problems do not speak in favor of abandoning Real Madrid, where one after the other the players who bear the burden of the organization are suffering from injuries. At a time when Pablo Lasso knows he can’t count on Nigel Williams – Goss (with injuries from the Final Four) and Carlos Allothen – has added the problem of Sergio Yul.
The leader of the ‘Queen’ stayed on the ground for just 4’33” in Game 1 of the semi-final series with Baskonia before leaving with a right foot adductor problem. This was of course an alarm signal for the Spanish team, who are looking for ways to cover the damage at the point guard position.
You see, Sergio Yul was the only one left as even Alberto Abalde (who often changes to ‘1’) suffers from an injury.
All this against the background of game 2 against Baskonia (4/6, 19:00, Cosmote Sport 7HD, Match Center at Sportish), in which Real Madrid are looking for victory that will give them a touch of qualifying for the LaLiga finals Endea.
