Badalona coach: “Jasikevicius is rude, he doesn’t respect us and only talks about him and his team”
Carles Duran broke out against Saronas Jasikevicius after Badalona was banned from Barcelona, calling the Lithuania coach “selfish” and adding that he disrespected his team.
Barcelona spit blood in the 4th semi-final, winning 63-60 at Badalona HQ to qualify 3-1 for the final of the Spanish Championship. Carles Duran conceded the Blaugrana’s superiority after the match, but revealed it with Saronas Yassikevitsios.
“The Barcelona coach doesn’t respect us. He only talks about himself and his team” stressed the Badalona coach at first, adding: “She’s frankly rude. “Barcelona qualified for the finals because they played better and are a better team.”
Finally, however, Durand added more calmly: “Barcelona and Real are the best teams. I wish Barcelona the best. “We prefer to be left out by the champion.”
