Real Madrid: Pablo Lasso returns to training a week after heart attack
A week after suffering a heart attack, Pablo Lasso returned to the field to coach Real Madrid players.
Pablo Lasso cannot give up his great love: the stadium. Just a week after suffering a heart attack, the 54-year-old coach was back at Real Madrid’s training center. Not to greet his players and teammates, but to “lead” this Real Madrid training program on the eve of the start of the Endesa Liga finals.
The revelation was made by the Spanish team themselves in the video uploaded to their social media from training. There, Pablo Lasso appears to be present and directing his players ahead of the conclusion of the preparations for Game 1 with Barcelona at the Palau Blaugrana.
Nevertheless, it is considered impossible to sit directly on the bench. Marca wrote a few days ago that this will not happen again this season after a relative ban by doctors. In addition, it is only gratifying that the 54-year-old coach was given the green light by the doctors to return to his everyday life – at least partially.
As against Baskonia five days ago, Real Madrid are now led off the bench by Chos Mateo.
