Basconia: announced the agreement with Penaroya for the next two years
With Ioan Penaroya on the bench, Basconia will go through the new season, as was announced on Monday afternoon (June 13).
Ioan Penaroya is officially the new coach of Basconia, as the Vitoria team announced on Monday afternoon (June 13). After the end of the collaboration with Spahias, the Basques had their replacement ready for the new season.
The 53-year-old coach sat on the Burgos bench while his last stop was with the Valencia team. Prior to Burgos, Penaroya had coached both Manresa and Andorra. On his tally he has won two BCLs (both with Burgos) as well as an Intercontinental Cup.
