Pablo Lasso was the face of the night after winning the Real Championship against Barcelona and moved with his statements after the 4th final where he was present and took part in the celebrations.

Real’s triumph in the Spanish league final against Barcelona and conquest of the Spanish league was marked by the presence of Pablo Lasso on the pitch just two weeks after suffering a heart attack.

The Basque coach was adored and was the first to lift the league trophy and then made beautiful words that moved people.

I would like to congratulate my team on winning the title, but also on the whole season. I think it’s complicated to achieve that in a 10-month season where good and bad things happen to you. We’ve played in the finals of all four tournaments we’ve played in. That says a lot about the group of people we have and I take my hat off to the kids.” Lasso first explained, then added:

I am proud of this team and what they have achieved. You know, the last few days have been difficult for me, but I’m fine. I admit it was difficult for me to lift the trophy, but I think it happened because it’s so heavy. But I’m happy with the way we’ve worked throughout the season.

There were seasons when we all won trophies, but as a coach I wasn’t proud. “But this year I’m very proud, even if we didn’t win everything.”

Remember the moment when Lasso lifted the champion’s trophy after the end of the 4th final against Barcelona:
