Barcelona: The first three newcomers and the five preparing to leave
Radical changes with regard to Barcelona, where the Spanish press speaks of several departures, at least five, but also of three “closed” in view of the 2022/23 season.
The season was successful for Saronas Yassikevitsios. A failure for Nikola Mirotic. There is a disagreement between the manager and several players in Barcelona and the two goals lost, the EuroLeague and the Spanish league, seem to lead to radical changes in the squad as the Lithuanian manager has another one-year contract and will continue as the ultimate boss.
With Nick Kalathis packing his bags to bid Barcelona farewell, once he finds the golden ratio to break his contract that expires in the summer of 2023, Barcelona will need a good point guard and that will be his priority. In fact, that was their priority because according to multi-week media out of Spain, Thomas Satoranski (31, 2.01) is the chosen one after six years in the NBA, in which he had 6.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per 22 .2 minutes in 388 games for the Wizards, Bulls, Pelicans and Spurs.
One inside, one outside the ace and from there Jan Veseli is considered closed, leaving Istanbul and Fenerbahce after eight years and the 23-year-old 2m.06 Alba Berlin striker Oscar da Silva.
Also on the way are Armon Milan’s partner Brandon Davis, who negotiates Roland Schmidt with Basconia, Nicolas Laprovitola and Corey Higgins. According to Encestando, they have contracts for another season and Pierre Oriola, Alex Abrines, Kyle Kuric, Sertats Sanli and others, it’s possible someone or some will leave too. The Turkish center in particular is being dubbed a ‘fiasco’ by the Spanish press, while each of these cases has been the subject of much debate as to how Saronas Yassikevitsios managed it.
