Homs, the anti-Peters that Baskonia had ready
Alec Peters went, Dalton Holmes went to Vitoria. The 26-year-old American signed a two-year contract (2.03).
It didn’t take long for Baskonia to close the gap in forwards following the sacking of Alec Peters.
When Olympiacos announced the addition of the 27-year-old American to the red-and-white squad, the Vitoria-based team announced American Dalton Holmes for the next two years.
This is a 26-year-old small forward (2.03) with college degrees from two small universities and a brief stint in the NBA as an undrafted player who tried out in the summer league and signed with the San Antonio Spurs subsidiary and found the New Orleans Pelicans.
In between, he played in Italy for Vanoli Cremona in the 2020/21 season. He totaled 31 league games and it is true that he left with good averages (16.2p from 53% d and 42% tr and 4.5 rebounds).
