After a “scrap” with Marius Grigonis, Geoffrey Taylor scores in Valencia
Valencia tried to pinch Marius Grigonis signing, failed and turned their attention to Jeffrey Taylor.
Valencia have been trying to close the last gap in the region in recent days. Hence the “wedge” he recently made for Marius Grigonis, whom he offered around €900,000 a year for a two-year partnership.
However, the 27-year-old guard/forward is expected to end up at Panathinaikos OPAP, a fact that comes as no surprise to the Spanish club. Anything else as the Oranges had the alternative case ready, according to Valencia Capital.
The reason for Jeffrey Taylor, the 33-year-old forward who left Real Madrid after a great seven years. His playing characteristics may be diametrically opposed to Marius Grigonis, but Alex Moubro appreciates the fact that he knows both the Endesa Liga and the EuroLeague well.
Valencia Capital’s release says its case has not been abandoned, as well as the prospect of acquiring another center to complete the frontline occupation.
