Real Madrid: Pablo Lasso will break his silence for the first time since his ‘divorce’ with the ‘Queen’

For the first time since his “divorce” from Real Madrid, Pablo Lasso will break his silence and hold a press conference in Vitoria on Monday (18/7) at 2pm.

The news that Real Madrid have terminated Pablo Lasso’s contract has hit European basketball like a bomb. The veteran Basque technician, who had a health adventure (he suffered a myocardial infarction), was able to return to his coaching duties, but the Madrid team decided not to risk it and ended working with him.

Despite the doctors’ confirmation that Lasso can train without any problems, Real Madrid did not want to examine him and take care of his health, and Chus Mateo followed him on the team’s bench.

Thus, for the first time since leaving Real Madrid, Pablo Lasso will break his silence and speak publicly at a press conference about what happened to the Madrid team and the solution for his collaboration with the team he worked for.

The press conference will take place on Monday (18 July) at 2:00 p.m. at the University of Vitoria. This is the first time the Basque manager has spoken openly about his ‘divorce’ with Real Madrid after 11 years together.

The news of Lasso passing the team bench shocked not only the fans (who consider the removal of Pablo Lasso unethical and are asking for the intervention of the organization’s president) but also the players, with Eddie Tavares characterizing their removal as ” the crown missing from Real’s badge”.

For his part, Pablo Lasso denied to Real Madrid that medical reasons (which were also the reasons for his sacking) prevented him from performing his coaching duties and said he had been given the “green light” by the doctors.

He will clarify this soon, more precisely on Monday 18 July at the press conference he will be giving.
