Leo Westerman (30 years, 1.98 meters) is now a player from Obradeiro, as the Spanish club announced. The French guard didn’t fit Monaco’s squad so he has been on a free transfer for the past few weeks and Obradeiro has been in a hurry to sign him.
Westermann is playing for a team outside of the EuroLeague for the first time since the 2015/16 season, having played successively for Zalgiris, CSKA, Fenerbahce, Barcelona and Barcelona between 2016 and last year.
Last season, the French guard averaged 5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 19 minutes in the French league and 4.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 17 minutes in the EuroLeague.
