Euro League
With Sengelia Virtus in the EuroLeague
Toko Sengelia’s whereabouts at Virtus Bologna were officially announced on Tuesday (September 13).
THE Toko Sengelia missed out on EuroBasket 2022, a defeat that cost Ilias Zouro’s Georgia national team, but he will soon be back in action to bolster Virtus Bologna in a challenging season.
On Tuesday (134.9.) and with the slogan “Back in the Basket City”, the Italian team announced the contract extension of the 31-year-old power forward (2.06), who signed for two seasons with the prospect of two renewals for another. Or a new contract from summer 2025.
Sengelia has come off a nine-year run in the EuroLeague with three different teams and Virtus will be the fourth. During that long tenure, he has 11.9 points on 35% shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per 24.23 minutes of attendance.
