Olympiakos, Walkup: “I feel much more comfortable and have more confidence”

Olympiacos continue their preparations for the new season in the EuroLeague and Greek league and Giorgos Bartzokas is also waiting for the internationals to see his team united.

Tomas Walkup is his second year in the Olympiakos team and in his statements on the Red-Whites’ official website he has not concealed his enthusiasm for the new year and the squad that has been formed.

At the same time, he emphasized on the basis of his good performances in the first friendlies that he now feels more comfortable in the team compared to last season and that his self-confidence has grown.

“I’m really looking forward to the new season. I’m curious how the preparation goes. The new players are great, they’re extremely competitive and I think that’s the first ‘box’ we need to check. Otherwise they are all of good character. We are now awaiting the return of the rest of the team. I am delighted that they are joining and contributing to what we are already building.
