Marius Grigonis explained that he does not want to set any goals ahead of the new season at Panathinaikos, stressing that all he can say is that he and his team-mates will fight for victory in every game.

Marius Grigonis has been in Greece on behalf of Panathinaikos since Friday morning (September 16) and made it clear in his first statements that he is not a man who speaks big words, but prefers to speak with deeds.

The Lithuanian explained in detail on the website of the “Greens”:

About how it feels: “I feel so beautiful! I’ve had my mind set on coming to Athens for about two months and I’m excited.”

For the surrender of the Lithuanians to Panathinaikos: “I hope to continue the tradition! I hope to live up to expectations because these players were very good, especially Saras, Siskauskas, Masioulis… It wasn’t the same for Yavtokas, but they were all good players.”

For team goals: “It’s hard to talk about goals, I always prefer to promise less and deliver better results! I can guarantee that we will fight and try to win every game.”

His message to the world: “I know the team’s fans are passionate and have a lot of energy, I personally want to bring that to the pitch. Let’s do it together!”
