Peters elected to EuroLeague Players Association board, Ponitka resigns
The election of Alec Peters to the EuroLeague Players Association board, replacing Mateusz Ponitka, was the only change announced on Wednesday.
A board member of ELPA, the players’ association of the EuroLeague, is from Wednesday (21.9.) Alex Peters. The new Olympiakos striker was elected during the general assembly, replacing the retired Mateus Ponitka.
This was the only change to the board, with Kyle Hines, Adam Hanga and Nikola Kalinic being re-elected as vice-chairs, alongside incumbents Luigi Datome and Jason Granger (now EuroCup players’ representative). Always below him Sengelia tourniquet who continues in the presidency.
In addition to the processes, all proposed regulatory and legislative changes were discussed during the assembly and the plan for the next season was analyzed. According to official information, their approval was unanimous.
